Salim graduated from the University of Calgary in 2002 obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction. Prior to joining Ross Smith Energy Group in May 2007, Salim spent over 3 years in Japan working as a Language Instructor. Before going to Japan, Salim worked at TD Canada Trust as a Financial Services Representative. Salim anticipates writing the Level III exam of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program in June 2008.
